Job Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and assess requests for proposal (RFPs) or requests for information (RFIs) and build a response that addresses Sponsor requirements and provides a compelling message differentiating our offering.
  • Coordinate with Business Development Leads and subject matter experts throughout the company to build an operational strategy to address the Sponsor’s needs.
  • Coordinate with SMEs to provide responses to Sponsor-specific questions and concerns.
  • Collect specifications and details from SMEs and build a budget that clearly outlines the appropriate deliverables, pricing, resourcing and timelines.
  • Support the defense of proposals and pricing to Sponsors as well as to internal approvers.
  • Continuously improve the process of developing proposals and budgets, incorporating technology where appropriate, to more efficiently provide deliverables, check for quality gaps, and effectively manage communication.
  • Support the maintenance of internal proposal and response libraries.
Requirements:
  • Advanced understanding of CROs and scientific & clinical data/terminology, & the drug development process.
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in the CRO industry in proposals, pricing, and/or other related roles.
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Scientific Discipline, Finance, or equivalent experience.  Advanced degree is preferred.
  • Highly proficient with effectively organizing and maintaining records related to proposals and contracts using CRM, SharePoint (SPO). Highly compliant with Commercial Operations records retention processing including file naming convention, folder organization and status updates in CRM.
  • Ability to map budgets into client grid and use client systems such as Ariba or Workday.
  • Effectively sets and manages priorities to ensure efficient and timely outcomes to satisfy internal and external customers.
  • Highly proficient managing lifecycle of assigned deliverables.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reviewing, validating, and quality-controlling budgets prepared by others. 
  • Extensive experience in authoring and managing complex proposals.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
