THE WORK:

  • You'll support strategic business development, client engagement, and major pursuit efforts focused on Caltrans, transportation agencies, city, county, ports, and surface transportation programs throughout Southern California, while working closely with Road, Bridges & Tunnel and Local Government/Port Sub-Industry Leaders to identify and position Accenture for significant infrastructure opportunities.
  • You'll build and maintain relationships with key client decision-makers, serve as a relationship lead for select strategic accounts, and help expand Accenture's presence through strategic client engagement, market intelligence, early pursuit positioning, and coordinated capture planning.
  • You'll participate in industry organizations such as WTS, CMAA, APWA, ACEC, and AACE, attend conferences and networking events, and coordinate client touchpoints, executive meetings, firm-hosted engagements, and post-event summaries.
  • You'll develop and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline based on client interactions and market intelligence, track opportunity status, probability, and timing within Deltek CRM, and report on key business development metrics, including backlog forecasts and pursuit performance.
  • You'll align the pipeline with firm revenue goals and staffing capacity, work closely with Sub-Industry Leaders, Regional Managers, Project Managers, and technical staff, and support the early development of staffing plans and organizational charts.
  • You'll lead or support go/no-go decisions, pursuit strategies, early positioning efforts, pre-proposal intelligence gathering, and outreach to clients and teaming partners.
  • You'll facilitate teaming strategies with primes, subconsultants, and joint venture partners; identify and engage strategic teaming partners; manage partner relationships throughout the pursuit lifecycle; and prepare and distribute MOUs and subconsultant agreements.
  • You'll develop comprehensive capture plans that include key contacts, client insights, win themes, differentiators, and pursuit milestones, while supporting the full pursuit lifecycle through capture plans, client presentations, and marketing materials.
  • You'll coordinate with Marketing on proposals, conferences, promotional efforts, branding, and messaging, collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling submissions, and support interview preparation, messaging, and rehearsals.
  • You'll oversee coordination with lobbyists or external consultants as needed, participate in internal strategy and green team discussions, track pursuit action items, and coordinate internal and external networking events, conferences, and exhibitions.

$160,000 - $250,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.   • Minimum 7 years' experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry
  • Minimum 7 years' program Management or Construction Management industry experience
  • Minimum 7 years' experience supporting business development, capture management, marketing, and strategic pursuits
