Job description

A multi-discipline consulting firm is seeking a Project Wastewater Engineer for their growing team in Parsippany, New Jersey!  


Responsibilities:
  • Perform various engineering tasks including wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment processes
  • Lead engineering evaluations
  • Prepare design calculations, reports, plans and specifications
  • Perform construction administrative tasks (construction phase management activities, coordinate shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, develop construction change orders)
  • Communicate directly with clients
  • Confirm accuracy of plans/specifications
  • Perform field activities (site investigations, witness testing and milestone construction observation)
  • Supervise/manage junior staff
  • Assist with business development (write technical proposals/assist with budgeting)
  • Lead pursuit of small to moderate size projects

 

Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical)
  • 5+ experience in design of wastewater treatment plants, collection and conveyance systems, and alternative onsite treatment systems
  • PE License or ability to obtain in six months
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Access, Teams, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D software

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
