Job description

Our Newton based client is looking to hire a Proposal Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic thinker with a passion for compelling storytelling, proposal development, and brand enhancement, someone eager to influence the growth and success of a reputable company.
Compensation: $85K-$95K
*Potential offers vary based on experience level, qualifications
Applicants must be local and willing to commute to Newton, MA, as this role is 100% onsite, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine persuasive proposal content tailored for RFQs, RFPs, and qualification submissions, ensuring clarity and impact.
  • Collaborate with project teams and senior leadership to craft compelling narratives, case studies, and technical descriptions for proposals.
  • Support the preparation of interview presentations and client meetings, ensuring materials are polished and strategically aligned.
  • Coordinate and update marketing content, including website and social media channels, to strengthen brand visibility.
  • Assist in maintaining proposal and marketing resource libraries, ensuring easy access to templates and technical assets.
  • Facilitate seamless communication across internal teams and external vendors to guarantee timely delivery of marketing materials and proposals.
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and branding initiatives to foster a cohesive marketing strategy.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in marketing, proposals, or professional service marketing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint, with a capability to produce visually consistent content.
  • Experience in proposal development, pursuit strategy, and client-focused marketing.
