Job description

Beztak is looking to hire an Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Property Manager with the daily operations of the property. You will also be providing exceptional leadership to your team, while also focusing on your own professional development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Preparing and scheduling property viewings, conducting property tours and interviewing prospective tenants.
  • Addressing and resolving residents' questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Processing applications, conducting credit checks, and negotiating contracts.
  • Inspecting property conditions and coordinating maintenance activities.
  • Managing budgets, accounts, rent collections, and tenant notices.
  • Creating and distributing marketing materials to attract new tenants.
  • Maintaining organized and updated resident files and records.
  • Reporting any problems or issues to the property manager.
  • Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills.
  • Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.
  • Assist underperforming sites with leasing and collections

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in similar role or related field

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office, with a mixture of natural, incandescent and fluorescent light.
  • You may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, and snow is common. May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks.
  • You will also periodically be confined to a vehicle.
