Description

Executive Summary

Trademark Property Company seeks an experienced and entrepreneurial senior operations executive to join our leadership team. This is a high-impact role leading property operations across a significant portion of our national mixed-use portfolio. You will work alongside other senior operational leaders, each overseeing a defined set of properties, setting and enforcing institutional-quality standards, developing on-site and corporate property management teams, and serving as a primary operational voice to institutional partners and prospective clients. As Trademark's portfolio continues to grow, this structure is designed to scale, and the right person will help shape it.

About Trademark Property Company

Trademark Property Company is a national leader in the evolution of retail and mixed-use real estate. For over three decades, we have been at the forefront of creating "places that matter"-environments that foster community, drive economic value, and stand the test of time. Joining Trademark as a Senior Vice President means joining a partnership that values intellectual curiosity, absolute integrity, and a relentless drive for excellence. We offer a sophisticated platform that combines the agility of a private firm with the discipline of a global institutional partner.

The Opportunity

Trademark is building a team of senior operational leaders, each responsible for a defined portfolio of mixed-use properties. Experienced leaders will work with the President & COO and other peers, with direct ownership of their properties, teams, and client relationships. This is a high-visibility role for a leader who can operate at the intersection of institutional-quality asset stewardship, team development, and operational innovation. As the portfolio grows, so does the team. The right candidate will not only lead their portfolio but help shape how Trademark's operations platform evolves.

Core Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Operations: Lead the operational performance of your assigned portfolio, ensuring compliance with institutional standards, contractual obligations, and brand expectations. Establish and maintain best-in-class systems and processes for property management, accounts receivable, budgeting, and capital project oversight. Conduct regular property visits and maintain direct engagement with on-site teams and partners.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Oversee and develop on-site General Managers and corporate property management staff within your portfolio. Champion a culture of accountability, professional growth, and apprenticeship-based learning. Serve as the operational leadership voice that reinforces Trademark's standards and expectations at every level.
  • New Property Transitions: Lead onboarding of new properties into the Trademark platform, including structuring internal transition teams, developing implementation processes, and managing relationships with incoming clients and partners.
  • Client & Institutional Engagement: Serve as a key operational representative to existing institutional partners and prospective clients. Participate meaningfully in new business pursuits by demonstrating the depth and credibility of Trademark's operations platform.
  • Reporting & Collaboration: You will report directly to the President & COO and work closely with peer operational leaders and cross-functional teams across leasing, asset management, development, finance, and investments.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Operational Pedigree: 15+ years of progressive experience in commercial property operations, with a strong preference for mixed-use retail and open-air environments. You have led multi-property portfolios and managed both on-site and corporate teams. You understand what institutional-quality operations look like because you have built and maintained them.
  • Team Builder: A demonstrated track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing property management teams. You lead through intent and accountability, not micromanagement.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven experience with property-level financial packages, annual operating and capital budgets, and asset-level business plans. You bring the financial discipline expected by institutional capital partners.
  • Executive Presence: Credible in front of institutional partners, prospective clients, and industry audiences. You communicate with clarity and confidence, and you represent the operational depth of the platform in ways that build trust and win business.
  • Academic & Professional Excellence: Bachelor's degree from a respected institution. CSM, CPM, or similar industry designations are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: A market-competitive base salary and annual bonus, with the potential for additional incentive compensation tied to contributions in sourcing and securing new management engagements.
  • Comprehensive Health & Advocacy: Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage via United Healthcare, enhanced by HealthJoy for concierge-level telehealth and healthcare advocacy.
  • Wealth Building: 401(k) retirement platform with a company match (50% on the first 5% of contributions).
  • Executive Protection: Employer-sponsored Life, AD&D, and both Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance.
  • Family-First Culture: 4 weeks of paid maternity leave and 2 weeks of paid paternity leave.

Our Commitment to Excellence

Trademark is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate a diversity of perspectives and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all partners and employees. Â
