Providence Real Estate is seeking an experienced Property Operations Manager to lead operations for a newly acquired apartment community in Austin, Texas. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a seasoned property management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of a community's overall performance, team leadership, and resident experience.

While this role will be based at one flagship property, the position functions at a regional or district-management level with broad operational responsibility and significant influence over the success of the asset. We are looking for a strong leader who understands both the financial and operational side of multifamily housing and can drive performance while building a positive team culture.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will oversee all aspects of property operations, including financial performance, occupancy, leasing strategy, resident satisfaction, maintenance coordination, and team development. You will serve as the operational leader for the community and work closely with ownership and executive leadership to ensure property goals are achieved.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing onsite leasing, maintenance, and administrative teams
  • Managing budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and expense control
  • Driving occupancy, revenue growth, and resident retention
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and resident relations
  • Overseeing capital improvement projects and property transitions related to acquisition activity
  • Monitoring market trends and implementing competitive leasing strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and housing regulations
  • Building strong vendor and contractor relationships
  • Maintaining high operational standards throughout the property
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is an experienced multifamily leader who can operate strategically while remaining hands-on when needed. This role requires strong business judgment, leadership ability, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of multifamily property management experience required
  • Prior experience as a Regional Manager, District Manager, Senior Property Manager, or multi-site leader preferred
  • Strong understanding of property financials, budgeting, and operational reporting
  • Experience leading large teams and improving property performance
  • Proven ability to manage acquisitions, transitions, or repositioning efforts is a plus
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and property management regulations
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with property management software systems
