BREM Property Management is seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties throughout the Detroit Metro area. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and takes pride in providing exceptional service to both property owners and residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of a residential property portfolio.
  • Oversee tenant move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and inspections.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure timely rent collection and enforce lease compliance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns.
  • Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records using property management software.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and Michigan landlord-tenant regulations.
  • Work closely with ownership to maximize occupancy, resident satisfaction, and property performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of residential property management experience is required.
  • Experience managing residential properties in Detroit or similar urban communities is highly preferred. Candidates should be comfortable managing the unique operational, maintenance, and resident relations challenges that come with urban residential portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of Michigan landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
