Job description

Seeking an Insurance Broker/Underwriter professional to support commercial property insurance placements by working closely with independent agencies and carrier partners. This role focuses on evaluating submissions, negotiating competitive coverage terms, and developing strong agency relationships to drive new business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and market commercial property insurance submissions to appropriate carrier partners.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and coverage options to secure competitive solutions for clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with retail agents and insurance markets.
• Generate new business opportunities through networking, agency outreach, and cross-selling initiatives.
• Manage submissions throughout the quoting and binding process while ensuring timely service and communication.
• Coordinate with internal support teams to maintain efficient workflow and client responsiveness.

Qualifications:
• Experience in commercial property insurance, brokerage, underwriting, or related P&C insurance roles.
• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• Background in business development, producer relationships, or insurance sales preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning new systems.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred along with 1-3 years of related insurance experience.
