About the Role:
As a CBRE Property Condition Assessor, you will prepare basic Property Condition Reports and note deficiencies observed by a professional in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
This job is part of the Valuation function. They are responsible for inspecting and determining the values of land, property, and businesses.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with coordinating walk-through surveys to assess the condition of the property.
  • Interview property owners, occupants, and other key members to collect information.
  • Document repair costs, occupancy, maintenance and inspection reports, and more.
  • Take photographs of property systems and their condition.
  • Prepare estimated costs for repairs and improvements.
  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, asks questions, and check for understanding.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 5 years of commercial building evaluation or commercial design experience.
  • Certification as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect preferred.
  • General understanding of building systems, including: site work, structural, building envelope, and MEP.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
