Job description

Premier Cooperative is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Lumber & Propane Delivery Driver. This role is responsible for safely delivering propane and lumber products, supporting yard and retail operations, and providing excellent customer service to our members and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Operations
  • Safely deliver propane and lumber materials to customer locations
  • Operate delivery trucks in compliance with all DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements
  • Load, unload, and properly secure materials for transport
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain equipment
  • Assist with yard, warehouse, and retail operations as needed

Customer Service
  • Provide professional, courteous service at all customer stops
  • Answer basic questions and represent the cooperative positively
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery documentation and invoicing
  • Communicate any delivery issues or customer concerns to management

Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations
  • Maintain CDL and any required endorsements/certifications
  • Ensure proper handling and delivery of propane and lumber products
  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment concerns immediately

General Support
  • Assist with inventory, stocking, and facility upkeep
  • Support other departments during peak seasons as needed
