Propane Delivery & Service Technician

Premier Cooperative is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Propane Delivery & Service Technician to join our energy team. This role combines safe and efficient propane delivery with hands-on service work, including tank installations, maintenance, and customer support.


Position Overview

The Propane Delivery & Service Technician is responsible for delivering propane to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers while providing installation, maintenance, and service support. This role plays a key part in ensuring safety, customer satisfaction, and reliable energy service.


Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Operations

  • Safely deliver propane to customer locations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate delivery vehicles and equipment in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Complete delivery tickets, invoices, and required documentation accurately

Service & Installation

  • Install, inspect, and maintain propane tanks, regulators, and related equipment
  • Perform system checks, leak tests, and general service work
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service issues for customers

Customer Service

  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the cooperative professionally
  • Educate customers on safe propane use and equipment operation
  • Respond to customer questions and service requests promptly

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety procedures, including DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations
  • Maintain proper certifications and licenses required for the role
  • Perform regular equipment and vehicle inspections

General Support

  • Assist with routing, scheduling, and other operational needs during peak seasons
