Proofreader

Location: Largo, FL 33777
Rate of Pay: $15/hr
Scheduled Hours: Mon - Fri | 7 am to 330 pm

Position Overview:
You'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all artwork and designs before they are finalized and sent to production. This role involves carefully reviewing proofs for consistency, errors, and adherence to brand guidelines, as well as collaborating with artists and other team members to address any discrepancies. The Proofreader plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of quality and consistency expected by us for our products, ensuring that all visual materials meet client and company expectations before they reach the Production stage.

Essential Job Functions:
• Responsible for quality and accuracy of an order before production by using an art application system.
• Reviews the supplied customer artwork, artwork returned from vendors, purchase order, and any added customer or CSR special instructions.
• Compare artwork to the corresponding final file(s) and production traveler for any errors.
• Mark any errors found and return them to the vendor/artist for correction.
• Complete 100 orders daily.

Requirements:
• High School Diploma.
• Proficient in MS Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator.

Other Skills/Abilities:
• Organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly via email with Customer Service Reps.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:
• Sitting for extended periods of time working on a computer screen.
• Factory setting work environment in a stationary cubicle.
