Job Summary
Performs independently a wide variety of personnel, ID badging, security systems and security administrative functions.
Essential Functions
  • All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
  • Responsible for the security badge fabrication process which includes, but is not limited to badge verification, digital photography, creating new hire badges and maintaining badge inventory.
  • Ensures that all security office equipment and software are operational and maintains the ID card/badge database.
  • Updates data and provides quality control using the Lenel System.
  • Routinely handles complaints with badge access, JBDEV encoding or badge deactivation concerns and provide information support.
  • Maintains and monitors multiple mailboxes on a daily basis to ensure that client emails are responded to in a timely manner. Coordinates department schedule and/or calendar as needed.
  • Responsible for department specific projects as assigned (i.e. special events, mass mailings, policy manual update, training, etc.).
  • Creates, maintains, and monitors parking violation reports and vehicle registrations.
  • Responds to telephone and walk-in requests and inquiries. Processes and submits check requisitions, and expense reports each week as required.
  • Grants users access to systems in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as copying, downloading company photos, filing, maintaining department calendars, scheduling rooms, updating signage, when necessary, etc.
  • Drives company-owned vehicles as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
  • This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education - High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
  • Experience - No experience required. Six (6) months security administration experience preferred.

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
  • Valid Driver's License and an acceptable motor vehicle record as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) chart and proof of auto insurance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Computer and organizational skills and Lenel System, JBDEV, Lawson, and Quick charge.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suites including Word and Excel including PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees, external vendors and contacts.
