On Target Earnings $70,000 - $80,000 with Uncapped Commissions

Who we are looking for
Promenade, formerly known only as BloomNation, is growing fast and hiring Sales Development Representatives who have already chosen this career. If you've carried a quota, worked a dial list, and come out the other side certain that sales is what you want to do - this is the seat. We're not looking for people who'll figure that out after they get here.
This is high-volume outbound into SMB. Short cycles, fast feedback, real conversations with owner-operators who answer their own phones. Prior outbound calling experience - SMB especially - is preferred. Not because we won't coach you, but because we'd rather spend that time making you great than making you comfortable on the phone.
The skill that decides who wins here. Anyone can dial. The reps at the top of this team take an objection and keep the conversation alive, ask the question that surfaces what a broken process is actually costing a shop owner, and get that owner to say it out loud and agree it's worth fixing. Getting to pain acceptance is the job. Volume gets you at-bats; that skill gets you paid.
The honest version of this job. The first stretch is new and interesting, and then it's the phone - every day, whether last week was great or terrible. Every strong rep on this team has hit a plateau where the activity was there and the results hadn't caught up yet. That's not a warning sign, it's where the skill actually gets built, and it's why our coaching is built around recorded call reviews instead of pep talks. We're looking for someone who keeps the dials up when the scoreboard isn't cooperating yet.
How we invest in you. Weekly one-on-ones with your Sales Manager, recorded call reviews, and a methodology you'll get sharp at rather than a script you'll read. We offer tiered bonuses for ramp and for every SDR level promotion, strong performers move up to Sr. SDR and the best to AE. We promote from within when it's earned, against criteria you'll see on day one. We won't sell you a timeline, but goals to attain it will be clear. We will make you measurably better at selling.

Specifically, you will...

• Run high-volume outbound to SMB owner-operators - cold calls first, with email and social as support, not substitutes
• Get to pain acceptance: run structured discovery, surface what a broken process is actually costing the business, and get the owner to name it as a problem worth solving
• Work objections in real time and keep conversations alive that most reps let die
• Reach the actual decision-maker - in SMB that's usually the owner, and usually while they're busy running the shop
• Learn our industries, our platform, and our competitors well enough to hold a credible conversation with someone who's run their business for twenty years
• Keep leads engaged through to a qualified demo that actually gets held, not just booked
• Partner with Account Executives to build pipeline they can close, and stay involved in what happens to the meetings you set
• Hit your monthly number consistently, then find out where your ceiling actually is
• Bring your own calls to weekly one-on-ones with your Sales Manager and work the recordings honestly
• Hold yourself and your teammates to the standard - the floor runs on the energy people bring to it
• Partner with marketing on outreach campaigns and test your own angles; good ideas here get used
