Job Summary:

$20k sign on bonus with 2 year commitment.

When a patient has a severe respiratory condition in a ProMedica hospital, a Registered Respiratory Therapist provides the care they need in a general, clinical, emergency, and/or diagnostic care area.

You will help create a care plan, evaluate goals, and maintain communication with appropriate members of a patient's health care team.

In this role, you will help with clinical instruction of respiratory care, nursing, medical students, and residents as needed. You will also help orient new staff and contribute to the growth of others to strengthen the team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Licensed to provide respiratory care services by the state where work is performed
  • Current BLS

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • ACLS, NRP, and PALS certification is recommended, and may be required at somebusiness units.
  • Membership in the American Association of Respiratory Care
