Job description

RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (PM) for work to be performed in multiple locations within the INDO-PACOM Region. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of regional construction projects
  • Assist in preparation and solicitation of bids
  • Interpret specifications, designs and drawings and prepare quantity takeoff
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, tasks, goals, resource requirements and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Set up and manage project resources per the project budget
  • Plan, schedule, and maintain project timelines. Monitor and review critical path dates and milestone throughout project
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and leadership to project team
  • Oversee quality assurance with Project Quality Control Manager
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress to the Director of Operations
  • Lead project progress meetings with clients
  • Ensure timely closeout of projects
  • Manage all safety standards with the assistance of the Superintendent, Site Safety and Corporate Safety Director
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the specifications, drawings, standards, and subcontractor & supplier scope of work, etc.

Education, Skills and Experience

  • Basic or equivalent: Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering or related field
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
  • Heavy experience within the construction management field (required)
  • 10 years of related experience (preferred)
  • Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or USAF projects (a plus)
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities. Tactful and mature.
  • Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes
  • Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth
  • Strong analytical, numerical, reasoning abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities
  • Results oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations
