Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Project Support Specialist to support customer-facing outreach initiatives across New Jersey. This field-based role is responsible for the assembly, delivery, and documentation of project outreach materials across multiple municipalities. The ideal candidate is dependable, well-organized, physically active, and comfortable working independently in the field.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project-based assistance to the designated business unit.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to collect and organize required project data.

  • Assemble and prepare customer outreach communication materials.

  • Deliver outreach packets to customers across assigned municipalities statewide.

  • Travel to 4–5 municipalities in a given day as scheduled.

  • Distribute up to 600–700 door hangers per day.

  • Walk 7–10 miles per day as part of outreach distribution.

  • Document and report any significant findings or issues encountered during delivery.

  • Support overall project communication efforts.

  • Maintain compliance with organizational and institutional policies.


Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (No college degree required).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated organizational, time management, and reliability.

  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

  • Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation
    (Uber or public transportation is not considered reliable.)

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Physically capable of extensive walking (7–10 miles/day).


Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Project experience

  • PMP Certification


Additional Work Details
  • Primary work location is Clifton, NJ, with statewide field assignments.

  • Contractor will be reimbursed for mileage and tolls.

  • All outreach materials will be provided by the Project Coordinator.
