Minimumย requirements:

Education:

  • BS/BA in Business, Engineering, and/or related field experience.

Experience/Specific Knowledge:

  • 5+ years of Primavera P6 and MS Projects scheduling experience.ย 
  • Experience with large projects, e.g. petrochemical and/or LNG.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the function of all engineering disciplines.
  • Understanding of existing and potential customer deliverable expectations and preferences.
  • Ability to set priorities and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. ย 
  • Ability to effectively discuss and correspond with engineering disciplines and/or contractors to ascertain and understand pertinent information concerning schedules, scopes of work, estimates and/or project costs.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills and experience.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of other disciplines deliverable development to ensure coordination of efforts.
  • Knowledge and understanding of schedule constraints and information requirements for the production of all project controls deliverables.
  • Experienced in scheduling professional service hours and assessing the progress and quality of project controls work. Ability to accurately estimate completion of assigned tasks.
  • Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. ย 

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

Competencies, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work with superiors, peers and subordinates including supervision of independent land contractors.
  • Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job.
  • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, and follow company policies.ย 
  • Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work as a key member of an integrated project team and to transparently manage all aspects of property related concerns to minimize impacts to a project's budget, schedule and the overall operability of assets.ย

ย Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing schedules and analyzing activities.
  • Identify coordination issues where safety and schedule can potentially be in conflict.
  • Developing, monitoring, and updating schedules by obtaining updates through meetings, construction coordination interviews and field verification.
  • Complete understanding of Earned Value and Project Productivity.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the change notice/change order management systems. ย Assisting in facilitating weekly change notice hearings and change committee meetings.
  • Developing, monitoring, and updating schedules. Establishing a progressive system for projects.
  • Assisting clients and teammates in developing construction and contract strategies for constructability of projects.
  • Assisting in quantity analysis for the duration of activities and for estimating purposes.
  • Collaborate and communicate with a variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.
  • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
  • Other daily, weekly, monthly, or special projects may be assigned.
