You will assess field progress, evaluate project documentation and schedule data, communicate findings to stakeholders, and support resolution of schedule impacts and delay-related issues. Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain construction schedules, including regular updates and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform site inspections to evaluate progress and confirm schedule status.
- Conduct forensic review of schedules and contemporaneous project documentation (including costs, productivity data, and relevant records).
- Perform delay analysis to determine the cause, extent, and impact of delays; support resolution of delay claims.
- Assess change impacts, extended general conditions, expediting expenses, and related schedule/cost implications; communicate conclusions clearly.
- Prepare clear technical reports and deliverables for clients and internal teams.
- Maintain organized job files, documentation, and project records.
- Coordinate regularly with internal staff, contractors, and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent field.
- 5-7 years in a construction scheduling experience.
- Holds a PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification.
- Experience using critical path method (CPM) techniques to analyze construction project schedules.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera 6, and ASTA Powerproject.
- Previous experience or exposure to builder's risk insurance policies, construction claims management, and managing contractors.
- Ability to travel as needed to project sites and client offices (approx. 25-35%).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team towards a common purpose.
- Strong communications skills, with the ability to interface with various stakeholders and clients.
