You will collaborate with a multidisciplinaryteam of experienced engineers and industry professionals, gaining exposure to awide range of airport and airfield projects. Responsibilities:

  • Engineering design for airport projects to include runway, taxiway, access road, drainage improvement and pavement rehabilitation projects
  • Design and construction oversight for commercial and general aviation clients
  • Collaborating with project team members, client representatives, review agencies to resolve a variety of complex problems
  • Coordination with clients and funding agencies
  • Potential for supervisory responsibilities of less experienced engineers and/or technical support personnel assigned to the project
  • Prepares and reviews technical reports, drawings, plans, specifications, and permits for projects
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
  • Prepares cost estimates for assigned projects
  • Oversees construction projects, conducts project site visits, reviews contractor's submittals, pay applications, etc.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills; works independently on multiple tasks without immediate supervision
  • Builds and maintains excellent interpersonal relationships
