YOUR NEW ROLE AS OUR RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE
In this full-time resident project representative role, you will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Contractor, and department staff to review and document construction activities, while adhering to the required schedule of the Construction Contractor.
Starting the day as a Resident Project Representative, you will assist our Johnstown staff with important fieldwork. From performing construction observation of public works to performing routine material tests, you will be involved with construction activities and project continuation. Throughout the day, you will work with engineers and other field staff to complete portions of construction projects. By day's end, you've played a key role in public works projects, daily inspection and reporting, and communication of the project to the public.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of construction drawings and contract language
  • Valid PA Driver's License and the ability to pass a background check if required
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, math skills, and the ability to work well with the public
  • Must be willing to work outdoors and be physically able to do field work
