Job description

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an analytically sharp, process-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support sourcing strategy, financial analysis, and RFP facilitation for Alo's global retail store development program. This role sits at the intersection of procurement and financial planning - think FP&A with a sourcing lens. You will own the numbers behind purchasing decisions: building models, running competitive bid analyses, tracking spend against budget, and translating data into clear recommendations. You will also drive the end-to-end coordination of RFP processes and sourcing projects, keeping stakeholders aligned and timelines on track. You will partner closely with Finance, Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Facilities, Store Operations, and Legal to ensure every sourcing decision is data-backed, well-documented, and executed with precision.

RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Analysis & Spend Reporting
  • Build and own Excel-based financial models, pricing trackers, cost comparison tools, and spend dashboards to support procurement decisions
  • Partner with Finance on budget planning, Capex/Opex tracking, purchase variance analysis, and period-end reporting for retail programs
  • Analyze vendor pricing, historical spend, lead times, and order data to identify savings opportunities, cost trends, and risks
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, decision-ready summaries for procurement managers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate cost records and ensure purchasing data integrity across all active projects
RFP Facilitation & Sourcing Project Coordination
  • Coordinate end-to-end RFP processes: develop bid packages, manage timelines, collect and normalize vendor responses, and build side-by-side comparison analyses
  • Support sourcing managers in preparing recommendation memos and presenting bid outcomes to stakeholders
  • Track active sourcing projects across multiple workstreams, maintaining clear status visibility and escalating blockers proactively
  • Maintain a sourcing calendar and project tracker to ensure RFPs, renewals, and vendor reviews are executed on schedule
  • Assist with vendor onboarding documentation, pilot coordination, and initial contract setup in partnership with Legal
Vendor Performance & Data Management
  • Maintain vendor scorecards, performance data, and benchmark files to support ongoing evaluation and negotiation preparation
  • Monitor key vendor KPIs including pricing compliance, lead times, quality metrics, and delivery performance
  • Support the development of competitive pricing benchmarks and total cost of ownership models
  • Ensure vendor and contract records are organized, current, and audit-ready
Cross-Functional Project Coordination
  • Serve as the coordination hub for procurement workstreams - tracking action items, aligning stakeholders, and keeping projects moving
  • Partner with Store Design, Facilities, and Store Operations to gather procurement requirements and translate them into sourcing briefs
  • Support Legal in organizing and tracking vendor documentation including MSAs, SOWs, and service agreements
  • Prepare presentation materials, project updates, and sourcing summaries for internal reviews
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, procurement, strategic sourcing, finance operations, or a related analytical role
  • Advanced Excel skills required: financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data normalization, and dashboard building
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset - comfortable building models from scratch and pressure-testing assumptions
  • Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder projects with competing timelines and deliverables
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for data accuracy and documentation
  • Clear, structured communicator; able to present findings and recommendations concisely to non-financial audiences
  • Self-starter who can manage workload independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience facilitating RFP or competitive bid processes
  • Exposure to retail, store development, fixtures, or capital project procurement
  • Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems (SAP, Coupa, Ariba, or similar)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Background in or affinity for luxury retail and premium brand environments
  • Ability to work in office full-time
