Job Title: Project Manager
Duration: Fulltime Permanent
Location: Atlanta, GA 
Description:
Client is seeking an Project Manager to support strategic initiatives that span multiple departments and add value to the organization. This role manages the full project lifecycle for multiple moderately complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. The Project Manager will serve as a key liaison between teams, project sponsors, and internal departments, providing mentorship to Associate Project Managers and fostering effective collaboration across the enterprise.
Hard Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Communications, or related field preferred).
  • 2–4 years’ experience in business, consulting, or analytical roles (engineering, finance, management, information systems, or related field preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio preferred).
  • Experience with project management software, preferably SmartSheet.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict management skills.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete project management lifecycle from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate project plans, timelines, and roles across departments.
  • Track and adjust project budgets to ensure completion within financial parameters.
  • Mentor Associate Project Managers and provide guidance on project management functions.
  • Present research and analytical support to project sponsors and internal stakeholders.
  • Administer team logistics, including meetings, conference calls, minutes, and follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain relationships across departments and with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage expectations for project sponsors, internal customers, teams, and vendors.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts within project teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Define and oversee project measures of success.
