Job description

Position Overview

HyperStrong International USA Corp is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery and execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects for HyperStrong Americas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end execution of BESS projects from project kickoff through commissioning and handover.
  • Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Track project progress, risks, and issues; escalate concerns to the Senior Project Manager as needed.
  • Support project documentation, reporting, and change management processes.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics and Service teams to ensure alignment.
  • Assist with vendor and subcontractor coordination, including tracking deliverables and timelines.
  • Coordinate site-related activities, including preparation for delivery, installation support, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Prepare regular project status reports for internal stakeholders and management.
  • Support customer communication on a daily basis.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of project management or project coordination experience; experience with BESS, renewable energy, power systems, or EPC projects is a strong plus.
  • Basic understanding of energy storage systems, power electronics, or utility-scale energy projects preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as required.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese is a strong plus.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of contract basics, change orders, and project controls.
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required.
