Job description

Electrical Project Manager - (Wilmington, DE)
Immediate need for an Electrical Project Manager to support a federal construction program for a nationally recognized construction management and technology consulting firm. This position provides project management, design review, and technical oversight for projects, including occupied building renovations and federal facility upgrades. Because this is a secured facility, a secret clearance may be required so you MUST BE a US Citizen or Green Card holder!
Responsibilities
  • Review design submissions, cost estimates, and schedule updates to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to produce and refine construction documents.
  • Evaluate project schedules and align work plans with key milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with federal stakeholders to establish and validate project requirements.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, building codes, and security protocols.
  • Manage project risk, safety compliance, and coordination across all design disciplines.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Support the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR with acquisition planning, technical evaluations, SOW development, market research, and documentation.
  • Maintain organized electronic project records and provide day-to-day technical support.

Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required; ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or related field (required)
  • 6+ years of engineering or construction project experience
  • Experience on $1M+ projects
  • Experience on federal projects
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Knowledge of CPM scheduling
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and project software such as: MS Project, , Procore, Primavera, Prolog, AutoCAD, Revit
