  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager on project scope, scheduling, crew assignments, quoting, and planning
  • Ensure quality execution of services such as breaker (air, SF6, vacuum), transformer, relay, and cable testing, along with advanced diagnostics (Power Factor, VLF, DC Hi-Pot, Doble, TTR, winding resistance, insulation resistance, etc.).
  • Conduct field visits to verify safety, crew performance, and project quality; inspect job sites for equipment care and compliance
  • Coach Crew Supervisors on delegation, scheduling, and productivity improvement
  • Review and approve timesheets and documentation, ensuring timely submission and accuracy
  • Oversee job documentation, including reports, JSAs, test results, and change orders; ensure proper upload to internal systems
  • Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing job hazard analysis, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, and compliance with OSHA and NETA standards.
  • Act as the primary field operations contact for customers; provide updates, address concerns, and coordinate project requirements.
  • Direct crews during shutdowns, start-ups, and urgent troubleshooting events.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies, share best practices, and develop strategies to improve crew productivity and service quality.
  • 10+ years of field service experience in power plants, utilities, or industrial power systems.
  • Strong background with high-voltage equipment, protection & control systems, and commissioning.
  • Prior leadership experience managing crews or supervising largeโ€‘scale projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of NETA standards, testing procedures, and electrical safety regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); PowerDB or similar reporting tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead under pressure.
  • NETA Level II, III, or IV certification and/or PMP certification preferred
  • Class A CDL, OSHA certification, or TWIC card is a plus
  • Familiarity with transformer OEMs, power industry customers, and EPC workflows
  • Ability to read scopes, schematics, diagrams, and nameplates
  • Understanding of field disposal procedures and environmental standards
Additional Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to travel up to 80%, including nights and weekends
