You will work as a software engineer for a complex and ever-changing system with a fast-growing user base. You will be a member of a collaborative team of engineers focused on all aspects of agile software engineering activities.

You will contribute your ideas, design and implement new capabilities, resolve operational issues, and work directly with a variety of team members and end users to ensure the software solution meets user needs. The FADE team engineers solutions and develops capabilities that advance the tradecraft for intelligence analysis and warfighter support. We work directly with operational users to design, develop, and maintain capabilities that empower analysts to manage and fuse data from multiple sources of intelligence, allowing them to assess, monitor and alert on intelligence in direct support of vital national security missions.

FADE's software platform is developed and deployed on AWS cloud environments and on edge devices to best support our users where they need it most. Qualifications: Required: U.S. Citizen and hold a current TS/SCI clearance and polygraph preferred, will consider applicants that are willing to be sponsored for a TS/SCI clearance

5+ years of experience working as a software engineer or in a related field bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or 7+ years of a related technical experience in lieu of a degree Your experience working as a software engineer, your technical strengths and areas of interest, and the experience you can bring to the team Understanding of programming principles, such as object-orientation and use of design patterns The attitude, aptitude and willingness to learn current technologies and improve upon them A dedication to continuous improvement Unique knowledge and experience you bring to the team Strong communication and collaboration skills The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, and escalate issues and roadblocks, eagerness to learn, promote, and mentor best practices The ability to collaborate, solve problems, and debate proof of technology Desired: Server-side containerization technologies like Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot or similar Experience with Java, SQL, Git Server-side data technologies like, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Redis, DevOps tools, including Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus, and SonarQube Familiarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques Linux and Windows skills Your thoughts on team dynamics and what makes teams successful Your involvement in technical projects from design to production, the challenges you've faced, and your response Any experience you have with government contracting, prior or current military service, and customer facing roles Your experience in preparing and presenting designs to customers and stakeholders - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
