Here's the Gist:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to take on the challenging role ofBusiness Quality Engineer.This role can be filled at any of the Wolfspeed manufacturing locations, Durham, NC; Marcy, NY; Fayetteville, AK.This person will be responsiblefor preparing and organizing documentation to support ourquality business processes.To be successful in this role, the person will collaborate with internalteams within Quality and Operations to track, maintain, and report onthose processeswithin the Wolfspeed Quality Management System.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Consult withprocess stakeholders, such as Operations, Quality, Sales, and Project Management,toalign and draft documentation related to Product Change Notifications(PCNs)that will be delivered to our customers.

  • Track and report on status of all open PCNs toensure customers are notified timely,and responses are recorded accurately to enableimplementation.

  • Help review, map, and organizeCustomer Specific Requirements (CSRs) into internal standard operating procedures to ensure compliance across production lines.

  • SupportPPAP Compilationbycollecting, analyzing, and collatingquality data packages (including FMEAs, Control Plans, MSA, and capability studies) for customer submission.

  • Coordinate review and execution of customer survey requests.

  • Assist withProduct Compliance requests and submissions, both internally and externally,collecting and reviewing supplier datato determine compliance status and reporting to customers.

  • Participate on teams as assigned tosupport continuous improvement activities of our quality processes.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Qualifications):

  • BS inEngineering or Technicalfield of study with 0-3 years of experienceORanassociate's degree in quality, BusinessEngineering Technology, Electronics, or related technical fieldwith5+years' experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or regulated manufacturing environment preferredKnowledgeofquality systems, semiconductor materials, and semiconductor wafer fabrication.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices. Experience with IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO9001 strongly preferred.

  • Basic understanding of quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC)is a strong plus.

  • Excellent communication and project management skillswith a keen focus on attention to detail.

  • Works independently, self-motivated, takes ownership and accountabilityfor process deadlines.

  • Ability to work in large, complex, global environment,in a fast-paced environment, and remains flexible to support changing priorities.
