Job Summary
We are seeking a Operations Project Manager to join our Professional Services Operations team. This role is ideal for a customer-facing Project Manager who is eager to transition into a centralized PMO / Operations role with broad organizational impact. In this position, you will support and enforce company-wide standards for project execution, documentation, reporting, and implementation governance across a global Professional Services organization. You will work closely with Project Managers, Portfolio Leaders, and Executive Leadership to ensure consistency, accuracy, and operational excellence across 300+ active projects worldwide. This is a newly created role with a unique opportunity to shape processes, influence leadership, and drive operational maturity at a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
Project Status & Portfolio Monitoring
ยท Review all project portfolios in Asana and participate in Service Ops Sync meetings
ยท Facilitate twice-weekly reviews with the Operations Manager to validate findings
ยท Follow up on confirmed discrepancies to ensure timely correction and documentation
ยท Coordinate weekly with leadership to ensure all project boards remain current
ยท Schedule and follow up on โOpen Project Reviewsโ for overdue projects
Global Operational Watchlist & Reporting
ยท Maintain and continuously calibrate a centralized Global Operational Risk Watchlist
ยท Track issue themes, trends, and changes across portfolios
ยท Draft the monthly Global Operational Watch Report and submit to PS Operations leadership
ยท Send License recognitions from quarterly deliverables spreadsheet
PSO Jira Ticket Ownership
ยท Create and manage PSO Jira tickets based on operational roadmap priorities, observed gaps, and leadership requests
ยท Triage incoming Jira requests from Professional Services stakeholders
ยท Track tickets through resolution in coordination with supporting teams
Training & Onboarding Support
ยท Deliver onboarding training sessions related to Professional Services Operations responsibilities
ยท Update training materials based on validated process changes and feedback
ยท Support continuous improvement of the PM onboarding experience
Required Qualifications
ยท Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Business Operations Management, or a related field
ยท 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Software Implementation, or a related role
ยท Experience working within a PMO or centralized Professional Services organization
ยท Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide direct feedback to global professionals and leadership
ยท Hands-on experience with project documentation and operational reporting
ยท Demonstrated ability to quickly learn project lifecycles, assess risk, and evaluate project health against defined standards
Preferred Qualifications
ยท PMP certification strongly preferred
ยท Experience with Asana and/or Atlassian Suite (certifications a plus)
