Job description

Summary
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget; serves as the primary point of contact for project execution, collaborating with operations, clients, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results and achieve customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including operations, service, engineering, and procurement, to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate project status, financial performance, and risks to clients and leadership.
  • Review project documents, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all projects comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for project escalations or emergency needs as required.
  • Maintain accurate project records and reporting for internal and client use.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of project management experience in construction, fire protection, or technical service industries; PMP or equivalent certification preferred. Knowledge of NFPA and IEC standards, Underwriter's requirements and applicable building codes preferred.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) and ERP systems preferred.
Physical Demands
Combination of office and field work. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
