Semiconductor Tool Install Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Tool Install Project Manager to support complex semiconductor construction projects in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
This position requires a strong background in semiconductor construction and MEP tool installation, along with previous experience working for a General Contractor (GC). The Project Manager will coordinate tool install activities across multiple disciplines and work closely with construction management, field supervision, subcontractors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage semiconductor tool install projects from planning through installation, completion, and turnover.
- Coordinate general MEP tool install scopes, including mechanical, electrical, process piping, utilities, and supporting infrastructure.
- Manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and field execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and work plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, field supervision, engineering, and client project teams.
- Monitor manpower and resource requirements to maintain project schedules.
- Review drawings, specifications, blueprints, and project documentation.
- Identify field issues, schedule conflicts, and project risks and drive them through resolution.
- Review project deliverables and ensure work meets required quality standards.
- Lead regular project coordination and status meetings.
- Produce accurate project reports covering schedule, progress, risks, and key action items.
- Track field bulletins, changes, and outstanding project items through completion.
- Ensure work complies with project procedures, safety requirements, and cleanroom protocols.
- Develop strong working relationships with project stakeholders and construction partners.
- Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Semiconductor construction Tool Install experience is required.
- Strong experience managing general MEP Tool Install construction.
- General Contractor (GC) experience is required.
- Demonstrated construction project management experience involving complex, schedule-driven projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP construction, trade coordination, and field execution.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary construction teams.
- Strong scheduling, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management/scheduling tools.
- Ability to work in active construction and cleanroom environments and comply with required PPE and safety procedures.
- Engineering, Construction Management, or Business degree preferred; directly relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
