Job Description Summary Arcadis is looking to add Construction Superintendents to join our US Life Sciences Construction Management Team in Cary, NC. The Superintendent is responsible for all on site construction activities, with the project manager's assistance, on projects ranging from $100k-$20M. These tasks will include contractor management, labor management, safety oversite, client management, procurement assistance, and estimating assistance.

This role will be in our Cary, NC office, with travel to various project locations in North Carolina. Key Responsibilities Manages/coordinates multiple trade subcontractors and jobsite logistics On-site point of contact for clients on projects Read/interpret engineered drawings and understands construction means/methods Monitors and ensures on-site safety compliance and replays needs to EHS department Maintains site records: daily filed reports, RFI's, observations Writes a comprehensive scope of work Provides daily updates to Manager of Construction Conducts constructability reviews Support project scheduling Provide three-week look-ahead to client Records meeting minutes for internal and external teams Skills & Qualifications 10+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong MEP background preferred Life Sciences experience a plus OSHA 30 Excellent verbal, written and communications skills Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Write routine reports and correspondence Prioritizes and plans work activities. Uses time efficiently Plans for additional resources. Integrates changes smoothly.
