DSG is seeking an Electrical Project Manager in our Rochester, MN location. In this salaried, exempt position, work is typically performed during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, but may vary on occasion according to business needs. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the management of product orders and customer communications related to deliveries, damaged, or missing products. You will lead the coordination of bid projects and the assignment of Quotations Specialists, while fostering a collaborative team culture and enhancing communication across the region.

A Typical Day in the Life of an Electrical Project Manager at DSG:
- Lead the management of bid projects to completion from multiple Quotations Specialists.
- Oversee project material purchasing and scheduling.
- Provide accurate estimates and bid proposals, leveraging expertise.
- Deliver troubleshooting and product application assistance to customers.
- Resolve complex customer service issues by collaborating with team members.
- Act as the primary facilitator for the customer ordering process and quotations workload.
- Proactively identify and respond to opportunities to promote additional product sales.
- Ensure an organized system for quotations files and records of jobs quoted.
- Negotiate with vendors for special terms and pricing for supplies and materials.
- Follow up with sales and quoted customers to secure awarded project contracts.
- Lead the preparation and assembly of submittals for approval.
- Address all customer complaints and inquiries promptly to maximize satisfaction.
- Write and confirm orders for customer materials, ensuring delivery aligns with project requirements.
- Mentor junior team members and promote a positive team culture.

A Successful Electrical Project Manager Typically Has:

- Advanced product and technical knowledge, ideally with a relevant degree or certification.
- Proficiency in reading civil drawings and specifications for projects, and performing takeoffs.

- Proficient in Eclipse ERP and similar tools.
