Job description

Job Summary: To create and implement multiple projects for the distribution centers as well as serve as a resource for operations and logistics for analysis and reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Projects:
  • Create and implement projects to improve our warehouse operations.
  • Focus on cost savings at each distribution center.
  • Define and share best methods across all distribution centers.
  • Implement projects initiated by local distribution center's management.

Analysis:
  • Provide data and analysis to identify productivity improvements.
  • Create new and improve databases for use by operations.
  • Establish database, analysis, and methodology for slotting.

Report Generation:
  • Improve present operations reports.
  • Create new reports to facilitate managing the business.
  • Streamline present report generation process.

Support:
  • Provide support as a resource to each distribution center.
  • Serve as liaison between operations and other functions.
  • Travel required up to 25% of the time.

Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering area is preferred.
  • Five to Seven years' experience in an operations role is required
  • Prior experience in operations projects is preferred.
  • Warehouse or distribution center background is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Gmail, G Suite and Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
  • Regular on-site, in person attendance.
