Job description

Company Description

RES Exhibit Services creates brand experiences that inspire and perform. For 50 years, we have helped clients bring strategy, design, engineering, fabrication, and execution together under one roof to create custom exhibits, branded environments, and event experiences for high-visibility moments.

Today, RES is entering its next chapter with refreshed leadership, a sharper brand direction, new client momentum, and a renewed focus on clarity, accountability, creativity, and measurable results. We are looking for people who want to help build what comes next.

Why This Role Matters Now

At RES, project management sits at the center of where strategy becomes physical. This role helps connect client expectations, creative intent, engineering, manufacturing, vendors, budgets, schedules, and field execution into one coordinated path forward.

The right Project Manager will bring structure, communication, financial discipline, and calm follow-through to complex custom work. This is a visible role for someone who wants to be close to the work, close to the client, and part of a company rebuilding around stronger process, better outcomes, and real accountability.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help deliver custom trade show and experiential projects with precision, discipline, and pride in the finished result. This role oversees project timelines, budgets, resources, and communication so RES can deliver work that performs for our clients and strengthens the way we operate internally.

In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining clear communication with leadership, Client Services, Manufacturing, vendors, and clients. You will help ensure that each project moves from plan to production to execution with strong alignment, smart problem-solving, and measurable follow-through.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of project management for custom exhibits, trade shows, and experiential environments.
  • Work within best practices, standards, and processes of project management.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations, design, production, and execution teams to deliver projects with precision and excellence.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost control.
  • Serve as a key point of escalation for projectrelated issues, providing guidance and problemsolving support to the team and clients.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive innovation, improve operational processes, and maximize profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
  • Monitor industry trends and innovations to keep RES Exhibits at the forefront of the exhibit and trade show space.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes across all project phases.
  • Report to senior leadership on project status, team performance, and operational metrics.
  • Excellent financial acumen with the ability to manage large project budgets and drive cost savings without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment, balancing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and project oversight.
  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Operations, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in project management within the construction or residential home building industries. (Trade Show industry preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, largescale projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, internal teams, and vendors at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, Asana) as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means projects are organized, communication is clear, budgets are actively managed, internal teams understand what is expected, and clients feel confident that RES is leading the work with discipline and care. The strongest candidates will be accountable, collaborative, curious, financially aware, and comfortable working in a custom environment where details matter.
