Rochester Regional Health is seeking an accomplished Obstetrics & Gynecology physician leader to serve as Chair of Women's Health, providing strategic and clinical leadership across a growing, multi-hospital Women's Health service line.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a collaborative physician executive who is passionate about advancing women's healthcare, developing physicians, and shaping the future of an integrated health system.

The Opportunity

As Chair, you will partner with executive leadership to oversee Women's Health services across Unity Hospital and United Memorial Medical Center while maintaining an active clinical practice.

You'll lead a highly engaged team of physicians and advanced practice providers, driving quality, innovation, physician engagement, and strategic growth across Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Our Women's Health service line delivers:

  • More than 5,000 births annually
  • Over 4,000 gynecologic procedures each year
  • Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Women's Health services
  • Academic and residency teaching opportunities
  • Access to advanced surgical technology and multidisciplinary specialty care

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for Women's Health across multiple hospitals and practice locations
  • Advance clinical quality, patient safety, and patient experience
  • Lead physician recruitment, retention, and engagement
  • Foster collaboration across Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's specialty services including Urogynecology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Oncology, and Reproductive Health

Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Eligible for New York State medical licensure
  • Demonstrated physician leadership experience in a hospital, academic, or integrated health system
