Job description

The Project Manager (IT & Enterprise Transformation) is responsible for leading and executing strategic technology and enterprise initiatives across multiple operating subsidiaries. This role will manage the full lifecycle of projects including IT system implementations, enterprise transformation initiatives, and merger & acquisition integration activities.
The Project Manager will operate within the company's enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) framework and partner with cross-functional stakeholders across IT, Finance, Operations, HR, and executive leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with broader strategic objectives.
This role requires strong project execution discipline, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, decentralized operating environment while balancing multiple concurrent initiatives that support the company's enterprise transformation roadmap.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of enterprise and IT transformation projects including planning, scoping, budgeting, execution, monitoring, and project closeout.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies aligned with PMO standards, governance frameworks, and project delivery methodologies.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams including IT, Finance, Operations, HR, and business unit leadership to drive project execution and alignment with enterprise priorities.
Manage projects related to enterprise systems implementations, process transformation, infrastructure upgrades, data initiatives, and technology modernization programs.
Support enterprise transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, standardizing processes, and modernizing core business platforms.
Partner with business leaders to translate strategic initiatives into structured project plans with clear scope, milestones, and success metrics.
Support merger and acquisition (M&A) activities by coordinating integration projects, including systems migration, operational alignment, and post-close integration planning.
Track project progress against established milestones, budgets, and deliverables while proactively identifying and mitigating risks or obstacles.
Facilitate project governance processes including PMO reporting, steering committee updates, and executive stakeholder communications.
Develop and maintain project documentation including project charters, business requirements, project schedules, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and post-implementation reviews.
Drive change management and stakeholder engagement activities to support successful implementation and adoption of new systems, processes, and operating models.
Prepare and present regular project updates to leadership, including portfolio reporting, risk assessments, and key performance metrics.
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure technology solutions are implemented effectively and meet business requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and maturity of the enterprise PMO, including refinement of project delivery standards, templates, tools, and governance practices.
Specific Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in project management, preferably supporting IT, enterprise transformation, or operational improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience working on enterprise technology implementations, system upgrades, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience developing project plans, managing deliverables, and coordinating teams within a structured PMO or project governance environment.
  • Strong track record of delivering projects in fast-paced or multi-entity organizational environments.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Jira, or similar project tracking platforms.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within a formal Project Management Office (PMO) supporting portfolio-level planning and governance.
  • Experience implementing or supporting enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance, or operational systems.
  • Experience in industries such as construction, infrastructure, industrial services, engineering, or field services environments.
  • Experience supporting merger & acquisition (M&A) integration initiatives including systems and operational integration.
