Job description

Tri Delta is hiring a Digital Experience Manager who will be the operational hub of the organization's content and digital channels. This role is the organizational expert in digital media platforms and is responsible for updating Tri Delta’s strategy, engaging various audiences through existing platforms, underperforming platforms and new digital opportunities. This role ensures every piece of content is planned with purpose, executed with excellence, and published on time across the right channels. 
The Digital Experience Manager owns executing against the established editorial calendar and is responsible for keeping The Trident online blog, Let’s Talk Tri Delta Podcast, video and social media channels aligned and moving in lockstep against it. This includes coordinating the many moving assets, scripts, audio, show notes, graphics, articles, and social content, that go into producing the podcast and turning it into a fully realized, cross-channel content experience. This role also partners closely with the Strategic Communications team to ensure that priorities outside of core brand storytelling (e.g., the annual dues ask, volunteer recruitment, alumnae initiation) are accounted for and actioned within the monthly content plan alongside brand-building content. 
The primary focus of this role is ensuring member and impact stories reach our audiences consistently and with maximum impact, the right story, on the right channel, at the right time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Editorial Planning & Content Calendar 

  • Execute and maintain the organization's integrated editorial calendar, ensuring The Trident online blog, podcasts, video, email, and social content are published according to established editorial priorities and timelines. 

  • Translate established editorial priorities into coordinated channel plans and publishing schedules that ensure content reaches the appropriate audiences across digital platforms. 

  • Ensure editorial priorities are executed consistently across digital channels while optimizing content for the unique strengths of each platform. 

  • Maintain a shared content calendar accessible to all Enterprise teams. 

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to anticipate content needs and build appropriate lead times into the workflow. 

Video Channel Oversight 

  • Amplify Tri Delta's storytelling by adapting, optimizing, and distributing video and multimedia assets across digital channels to maximize audience reach, engagement, and organizational impact. 

  • Manage the organization's YouTube and TikTok channels, overseeing content calendars, publishing, channel optimization, and adherence to platform best practices and brand standards.  

  • Partner with the senior director of brand advancement, content development to execute the organization's video storytelling strategy, adapting content for platform-specific audiences and maximizing distribution and engagement. 

  • Develop and maintain channel standards, including video formats, metadata, captions, thumbnails, playlists, accessibility, and publishing cadence to optimize discoverability and audience experience.  

  • Monitor channel performance and audience insights in partnership with the brand support manager, digital, using analytics to recommend content optimizations, improve engagement, and inform future distribution strategies.  

  • Extend the lifespan and impact of video content by repurposing long-form stories into platform-specific short-form assets, clips, and promotional content that support organizational priorities and audience engagement. 
     

Content Operations & Channel Execution 

  • Supervise the Digital Content Creator, providing direction, coaching, and quality assurance to ensure content execution aligns with brand standards, publishing priorities, and organizational goal 

  • Serve as the final quality checkpoint before content is published, reviewing for accuracy, brand voice, and channel fit. 

  • Manage the publishing workflow across all digital channels: website, blog, social media, YouTube, and TikTok. 

  • Brief copywriters, designers, and content creators with clear direction, timelines, and channel specifications. 

  • Track content through the production pipeline from brief to approval to publication, keeping projects on schedule. 

  • Maintain a content library and asset management system so creative work is organized and reusable. 

 
Website Content Management 

  • Oversee the website content experience, ensuring pages remain accurate, current, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational messaging. 

  • Coordinate website content updates in collaboration with the strategic communications team across departments while maintaining consistency in voice, user experience, and brand standards.  

  • Monitor website analytics, SEO performance, and user behavior to identify opportunities for optimization.  

  • Ensure website accessibility (WCAG) and content quality standards are maintained.  

  • Lead execution of campaign landing pages, microsites, and special project content. 

Social Media Management 

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the Social Media Manager ensuring content calendars, publishing schedules, and channel execution support organizational priorities and brand standards. 

  • Provide strategic oversight of social media execution, ensuring every post is optimized for its platform and aligned across all touchpoints—from compelling calls to action and accurate tagging to destination links and Linktree organization to create a cohesive, high-impact user experience. 

  • Partner with the paid media team to ensure social advertising campaigns are strategically aligned and optimized for maximum impact, advancing brand awareness and recruitment efforts at both the national and local chapter levels. 

  • Monitor engagement and community activity; escalate responses or issues to the appropriate team members. 

  • Track and report on social performance metrics and use data to refine the content and posting strategy. 

Digital Experience Optimization 

  • Optimize the end-to-end digital experience by ensuring content, navigation, calls to action, landing pages, and supporting assets create seamless audience journeys across web, email, social media, and video channels.  

  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement through improved content distribution, cross-channel promotion, and audience pathways.  

  • Evaluate emerging digital platforms, tools, and best practices, recommending enhancements that strengthen Tri Delta's digital presence and member experience.

Required 

  • 3–5+ years of experience in digital communications, content management, or editorial coordination, ideally in a nonprofit, association, or membership organization. 

  • Demonstrated experience managing a multi-channel editorial calendar and keeping complex content workflows on track. 

  • Experience coordinating podcast production, including managing the assets and stakeholders required to bring an episode from concept to publication. 

  • Experience managing a CMS (WordPress or similar) and publishing web content. 

  • Hands-on experience managing YouTube and/or TikTok channels 

  • Proficiency with social media management and scheduling tools.  

  • Basic understanding of video production workflows—enough to give informed direction to creators and videographers. 

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and workstreams simultaneously. 

  • Excellent written communication skills, enough to provide clear direction and give precise, constructive feedback. 

  • Comfort with analytics platforms to evaluate performance and inform planning, with the ability to translate findings into concrete adjustments to the content plan. 

  • High attention to detail and a strong editorial eye for quality and consistency.  

Preferred 

  • Experience in a membership-driven organization or trade association. 

  • Basic understanding of video production workflows—enough to give informed direction to creators and videographers. 

  • Experience with project management tools (SmartSheet, Asana, Monday.com) for managing editorial pipelines. 

  • Graphic design familiarity or comfort with Canva for light asset creation or feedback. 

  • Working knowledge of SEO principles as they relate to content planning and web publishing.
