Description
Premier Door, Frame & Hardware is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to join our team on-site in Malvern, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional in the Division 8 commercial door, frame, and hardware industry who enjoys managing projects, building customer relationships, and driving successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial doors, frames, and hardware, the ability to interpret architectural drawings, and experience managing projects from estimating through installation.
What You'll Do
  • Develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships
  • Manage projects from initial estimating through final installation and closeout
  • Prepare detailed takeoffs for architectural hardware, hollow metal doors and frames, and wood doors
  • Review and interpret architectural plans, specifications, and project documents
  • Support end-user aftermarket sales opportunities
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone, email, and occasional job site visits
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success
  • Plan, track, and meet project schedules and deadlines
  • Ensure projects remain within budget while meeting scope and quality requirements
  • Proactively resolve issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support team and business goals

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Division 8 Commercial Doors, Frames, and Hardware
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Experience preparing door, frame, and hardware takeoffs
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and professional approach
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel to customer and other company locations as needed
  • Must pass a background check, physical examination, and drug screening
  • Ability to work on-site Monday-Friday in Malvern, PA
