Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects. The ideal project manager will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service.
Responsibilities:
  • Attend all meetings and distribute meeting minutes as assigned by your Project Lead.
  • Develop Action Item List and continuously track the completion of these items.
  • Proficient in Scheduling.
  • File Management.
  • Successfully engages PEP partners and tracks spend.
  • Tracks Value Creation on all aspects of the project.
  • Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process (Request for Proposal; RFP); conducts standard to complex request for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients.
  • Ability to negotiate and advise Client on vendor contracts and proposals including:
    • Invoice tracking
    • Executive Reports
    • Weekly dashboard
    • Project photos
    • Competent in MS Project & Excel
    • Dissect work letters.
    • Know how to read drawings.
    • Type up PJM Agreement.
  • Review and confirm with Project Lead/Director Project Revenue is accurate.
  • Engages different business lines for cross selling opportunities
  • Continue to build Network for internal/external relationships for future Business Development

Key Attributes:
  • Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout. Prepares standard project status reports for project delivery team or work group, client and management.
  • Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standard documents affecting real estate projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings. Enters project information data (i.e. project status updates, schedule updates, cash flow forecasts) and project documentation into project management technology tools (software applications, web-based tools, job cost accounting tools).
  • Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification. Prepares and reviews invoices and pay applications for processing in accordance with compliance requirements as per established governance of clients.
  • Assists in project close-out procedures for all projects and assists in maintaining project metrics for SLA & KPI's.
  • Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists; Conducts simple request for proposals; completes bid analysis with management support. Recommends resources to clients.
  • Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed. Facilitates project meetings.
  • Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
  • Mentoring/coaching junior team members for professional development.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position
  • Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers
  • May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees
  • Manages 3rd party project delivery resources/team
  • Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
  • 5+ years of relevant project management experience.
  • Strong organizational and management skills - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
  • Strong communication skills.
