Job description

Location: Onsite - New Albany, OH

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $71/$79 per hour (based on experience)


Summary of the Role

Join the Business Performance team of a large biotech pharmaceutical leader in New Albany, OH as a Program Manager supporting the Project Management Office, focusing on scheduling and information management within a Smartsheet-based project portfolio. You'll coordinate technical project timelines, risk management, resource, and budget tracking, integrating key project data into executive dashboards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional project leaders to ensure smooth new product introduction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate and manage project schedules, risk management plans, and resource/budget tracking for technical projects.
  • Accurately consolidate and report project data in dashboards tailored for various management levels.
  • Collaborate with New Product Introduction leads, engineering project managers, and workstream leads to maintain project plans.
  • Develop and maintain standard project documentation such as charters, kickoff decks, gate reviews, schedules, and dashboards.
  • Support portfolio, program, and project management processes and procedures.
  • Apply business process development and change management best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement using strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ensure effective collaboration and information sharing across systems.
Required Experience & Skills
  • 4+ years of experience in scheduling, coordination, and reporting using Smartsheet.
  • Experience in medical device development, packaging, or assembly.
  • Expertise in medium-to-large scale project or portfolio management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with business process development and change management.
