INTERN
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Join City National Bank's Chief Operating Office as an intern and gain hands-on experience supporting a subsidiary of Royal Bank Canada in Newark, Delaware. This 10-week paid internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts, tackle real-world challenges, and contribute to projects that drive efficiency, innovation, and client satisfaction. Ideal for ambitious students pursuing careers in finance, operations, data analysis or business, this role provides a launchpad for professional growth in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Support daily production of transactions across the key operational teams
  • Analyze operational workflows and propose data-driven improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving client experiences, such as streamlining account management or enhancing fraud detection processes.
  • Assist in implementing various location-based projects to boost colleague morale and drive colleague networking
  • Utilize tools like SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and/or Tableau to track metrics, generate reports, and identify trends that inform decision-making.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications*
  • At least 18 years old
  • Rising Junior or Senior in college (graduation date no earlier than December of current year)
  • Enrolled in a college/university working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree
