Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management.
  • 10 years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or network engineering, including 5 years of experience managing teams of TPMs or Engineers; within a networking environment.
  • 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects from inception to delivery.
  • Proven ability to align multiple organizations toward shared project goals and navigate ambiguous technical problems that span multiple teams.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, with experience presenting technical, product, and business concepts to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and empower a high-performing Technical Program Management (TPM) team responsible for complex, cross-functional initiatives across Google Networking Technologies.
  • Define, manage, and govern a multidisciplinary portfolio that solves high-impact business problems, align with long-term company objectives, and transform organizations and product areas.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to define long-term strategies, establish technical roadmaps, and set the development pace for global software systems and network infrastructure.
  • Cultivate strategic organizational alignment by bridging the gap between leadership goal and team execution, ensuring TPMs are empowered to navigate complex, cross-functional engineering landscapes.
  • Drive program execution by leveraging technical judgment to build consensus, guide technical proposals, and translate quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations.
