Job description

Job Summary:

As a Sales/Project manager at Spring Valley Insulation, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that our projects are budgeted accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in Construction, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Time management skills a plus. Work in our office, at project sites and/or customers/clients office.

Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.

Collaborate with project managers, production managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify project scope.

Perform cost analysis and prepare bid proposals for projects.

Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure accurate estimates.

Maintain and update a database of historical cost data for reference in future estimates.

Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as required.

Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as an Estimator in construction with a strong understanding of construction processes and cost estimation.

Proficiency in estimating software and tools

Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
