Establishes and develops detailed design, development, and construction project schedules and integrates them into a master schedule. Prepares and maintains project reports which may include schedule summaries, performance measurement, cash flows and status updates. Performs other project cost and pricing analysis and customer agreement pricing analysis as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Maintainsproject data systems by assigning budget, project manager and all relatedproject information.
  • Projectdata systems will include both capital and operating data systems.
  • Coordinateswith managers to ensure that all project information is organizedaccurately within the system, including correction to priority, level,description, and status.
  • Providesassistance and training to system users as needed.
  • Maintainsfinancial controls and document controls to ensure a high degree ofquality and accuracy in project cost allocations.
  • Facilitatesand enhances project controls to support stakeholder departments such asFinance, Tax, Asset Accounting, etc.
  • Initiatesand maintains project information within the ERP system.
  • Loadsproject estimates in support of project closeout procedures.
  • Providesproject audit summary reports for project manager review, close-outdocumentation and data requests.
  • Createsqueries and reports as needed.
  • Participatesin monthly project data systems meetings; assists with the development andtesting of systems enhancements; provides documentation of new proceduresrelated to enhancements for other system users.
  • Producesstatus reports to update progress on all project schedules, supports enduser inquiries, and performs data verification for projects in developmentand under construction.
  • Producesoperating status reports to update operating and maintenance costs forprojects in service.
  • Createsmonthly reports and facilitates meetings with functional group leaders andproject managers to review project progress; modifies schedule and projectdata systems information as needed. Creates other periodic reports forprojects as required.
  • Assistswith regulatory activities by collecting project data and compilingsupporting documentation. Research budget approvals made by the publicutilities commission to perform variance analysis on actual expenditures.
  • Supportsand coordinates internal and external audits of capital and operatingcosts.
  • Supportsproject cost analysis and customer agreement pricing analysis as needed.
  • Ensuresall compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands andcomplies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to positionand company.
