Bay Area, California | Up to $110,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits


A leading electrical subcontractor with a strong presence across the Bay Area is seeking a driven and ambitious Project Engineer to join its growing team.


With a reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects across commercial, healthcare, life sciences, technology, and mission-critical sectors, this organization provides an exceptional platform for individuals looking to accelerate their careers within the electrical construction industry.


This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced project teams, gain exposure to some of the region's most challenging projects, and play a key role in the successful delivery of major electrical construction programs.


The Role

As a Project Engineer, you will support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinating material procurement, equipment deliveries, and vendor relationships.
  • Supporting project scheduling, forecasting, and cost tracking activities.
  • Attending client and project meetings while maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Assisting with contract administration and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborating with field operations to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.
  • Supporting successful project closeout and handover processes.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience within construction, MEP, electrical contracting, or a related environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with both field and office teams.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software is advantageous.
