Job description

About the role:
As a Project Engineer you will you will support on-going and future AP1000/AP300 projects.
You will report to the Senior Project Engineering Manager and be located at our global headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA. The position is hybrid, you will be on site 2 days per week. Locations: US engineering locations (Cranberry Twp, PA or Rock Hill, SC) - mobile.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive completion of scope within assigned departments to support plant development.
  • Support front end engineering design, feasibility and early works projects.
  • Manage schedules, costs, and resource loading in collaboration with Resource Managers under the guidance of more senior engineers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and exploit opportunities .
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and develop recovery plans.
  • Be a lead point of contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinators.
  • Represent your discipline in project review meetings.
  • Support the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead.
  • Apply engineering principles to integrate multidisciplinary input
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor KPIs for schedule, cost, and quality performance.
  • Leverage digital tools for configuration control and collaborative workflows.
  • Opportunity to grow into senior technical leadership or Project Engineering Management roles.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Open to all Engineering Disciplines, Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Chemical)
  • 0+ years of experience required
  • Ability to travel in country and internationally as projects require (up to +/- 10% for peak times)
