Job description

Cedarville Engineering Group (CEG) is civil and environmental design-build firm focused on horizontal infrastructure projects for public sector clients. We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Project Engineer to join our team and lead the design and management of complex civil engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to determine project viability.
  • Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
  • Perform hydraulic and structural analyses as necessary for the design and evaluation of infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental professionals, construction teams, and surveyors.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
  • Ensure quality control and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with clients to understand their project needs and provide technical solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA or the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on design and project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
