Position Summary
WattBridge, the world's preeminent LM6000 delivery platform, is seeking a Development Project Manager to support all development efforts for our full power delivery platform focused on Data Center Campus style development. WattBridge developed, financed, built, owned and operated the world's largest LM6000 portfolio consisting of 2400 MW's from 2019 thru 2026. The platform raised over $2BN in capital and is now partnered with Energy Capital Partners as our majority sponsor. With competitive advantages in secured power equipment as an OEM, a proven track record in building out a 2400 MW portfolio, and a fully vertically integrated execution platform, we are well positioned to be highly successful in the data center industry.
The Development Project Manager responsibilities will provide primary support and leadership to the WattBridge objective of providing power generation and data center campuses that consists of 1.5 GW's commissioned by 2029 as part of a to be developed 5 GW portfolio. These responsibilities include identification of potential campus sites, management of related project activities and routine interaction with key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization. The candidate must have the ability to work in a team setting and handle multiple priorities and requests in a professional, courteous, and confidential manner. This position will be responsible for all day-to-day project ownership responsibilities, including PO/PR, budget and forecasting development and budget variance analysis
The candidate will bring a positive attitude and will be highly motivated with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Work Location: Position is Houston, TX based but there is remote working flexibility
Position Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying potential sites for projects, performing due diligence on prospective projects and market locations ensuring project infrastructure solutions are in place
  • Manage third party consultants to deliver cost effective development solutions
  • Work with local government authorities to identify requirements for site activities. Ensure proper permitting is in place for the project.
  • Work with environmental and regulatory personnel to ensure permits are obtained and regulations are met for the project
  • Develop specifications and evaluate vendor quotations for WattBridge related development activities
  • Develop and maintain detailed development project management plans
  • Interface with EPC on all activities regarding project schedule and management of the schedule
  • Establish and maintain development budgets and forecasts
  • Lead and monitor WattBridge related development activities on the jobsite
  • Assist in gathering, communicating, and monitoring information for project proforma activities
  • Responsible for purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Budget development and reforecasting responsibilities
  • Provide detailed analysis for variances to budget and forecasts
  • Support internal documentation requirements and reports for both internal and external management
  • Coordinate key stakeholder meetings and manage all communications, transcript, action lists with roles and responsibilities
  • Work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Up to 50% travel, if outside of Houston area
  • Must be fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
