Project Development Sales Manager ATS International (ATSI)

If you excel in a consultative, results-driven sales environment where strategic thinking meets execution, this role offers the opportunity to build meaningful customer relationships while driving complex project transportation solutions. Project Development Sales Managers play a critical role in expanding ATS International's customer and shipper baseowning revenue growth while serving as a trusted advisor across international and domestic project logistics.

This role carries accountability for ATS International's Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Terminals in Yuma, AZ and Houston, TX, with the opportunity to target specific regions, industries, or customer segments on a temporary or ongoing basis. Success requires initiative, strong communication, and the ability to articulate the ATS value proposition clearly and confidently.

In this role, you'll
  • Own and grow a profitable book of business, consistently exceeding monthly revenue goals through proactive sales execution.
  • Develop and enhance customer relationships using a formal yet consultative sales process.
  • Generate new opportunities by prospecting existing, inactive, and potential customers through referrals, cold calls, meetings, email, and networking.
  • Identify, develop, and manage leads independentlymaintaining a detailed sales pipeline from origination through long-term partnership.
  • Demonstrate strong industry knowledgeanticipating customer needs and delivering relevant, solution-based recommendations.
  • Respond accurately and promptly to RFPs, bids, and transactional service requests.
  • Assemble and clearly communicate customer scope-of-work requirements to the pricing and planning teams.
  • Collaborate closely with pricing and planning to develop operational plans and transportation concepts.
  • Present quotes and pricing indications in a timely, professional manner and communicate customer feedback effectively.
  • Serve as the customer's advocate, resolving service exceptions and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Assist with credit and collections activities as needed.
  • Enter quotes, bookings, and load requests into ATS systems; monitor and track shipments as requested.
  • Maintain complete and accurate account records, ensuring CRM data integrity (TRAX & CIMS).
  • Submit sales productivity and performance reports accurately and on time.
  • Act independently and instinctively to achieve business objectives.
  • Support and model ATS Mission, Vision, Values, and All-Employee Competencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and support work needs outside of normal business hours as required.

Compensation & Benefits
  • The total cash compensationrange for this position is$99,000 to $134,000 including a base salary range of $75,000 to $110,000 and first year training incentive of $24,000. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work.In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
